Joint-stock insurance company GENERALI OSIGURANJE SRBIJA, Belgrade ("the Company") processes the personal data of customers and prospective customers for the purpose of promoting special offers. It collects personal data from persons taking part in a special offer under sales campaign terms. The basis for the processing of these data is the contract. Without personal data processing, the Company is not able to implement a special offer.
The company processes personal data (first and last name, telephone number, email address, place of residence) collected through a sales campaign from the person who completed a survey and gave their consent to be contacted, to receive useful information, offers, and notifications about insurance products and services. The basis for this type of processing is the person’s consent, and the data are stored for 5 years, i.e. until the consent is withdrawn.
The company shares personal data with third parties who must have access to that data, by law and due to the nature of their work.
A person who has given consent to be contacted has the right to withdraw the consent to data processing, the right to access, rectify, update, erase, and restrict data processing, to object, and to transfer the data. The person who has given consent to data processing has the right of withdrawal. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the admissibility of processing before the withdrawal.
If a person believes that the personal data processing was carried out against the Law on Personal Data Protection, they have the right to file a complaint to the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
